EJx is designed as a general course with a multidisciplinary approach for students to virtually explore East Java!
Through an online series of lectures, discussions, case studies, and direct interaction with our East Javanese partners and students, you will gain a better understanding of East Java, the culture, its challenges, and its potential for the future.
Program details
Dates: Semester 1, 2022 (21 February – 06 June, 2022)
Cost: $800 AUD per student (this cost may be covered for NCP funded students).
Location: Online/Virtual with joint group activities in Perth (Batik making, traditional dance, martial arts and cooking sessions)
Applicants: Any student from Curtin, ECU, Murdoch, Notre Dame and UWA.
Applications close: December 20, 2021. Contact your university mobility office for application details. Students can then register HERE for EJx.

If you meet the NCP eligibility criteria, you can apply to have your program fee covered by NCP! If you do not meet all of the criteria below, you can still participate and self fund!
To be eligible to apply for New Colombo Plan funding, you must:
Be able to receive academic credit for the program.
Be an Australian citizen and not have dual citizenship or residency rights in Indonesia.
Be enrolled at one of the following universities: Curtin, ECU, Murdoch, Notre Dame or UWA.
Be undertaking a bachelor or bachelor honours degree as defined by the Australian Qualifications Framework at the commencement of the program.
Be aged between 18 and 28 years of age (some exceptions may apply).
If you have already been the recipient of a NCP mobility grant in the past, please advise your mobility team of this when you apply.
